The telling of horror stories must date back to the dawn of civilization, so comic books are just a very recent medium for this genre. It can be debated which was the first true horror comic as we know them today. But there are a few issues and titles that are milestones, and we've decided to bring them back to life for your enjoyment.

Our first compilation showcases six great vintage horror stories from some of the best comics we could find, so sit back relax and indulge in some classic horror tales from the golden age of comic books.

In this issue:

• "Horror's Little Acre": Honeymooners discover a killer's hideout. Luckily for them, the ground they walk on is cursed with the memory of an old unavenged murder. Nature itself turns upon the killer.
• "Murder Mansion": A crooked gangster couple hides in an abandoned mansion and conjures up the demon Teneshad to do their bidding. But there's a price to pay. Teneshad grows ever larger and takes them prisoner.
• "Corpse Convention": On Friday the 13th, a young couple checks into a strange hotel and is ushered into room 1313 on the 13th floor. They make the acquaintance of an annual convention of people who committed suicide in this room some years ago.
• "Bride of Death": Joseph needs a fresh corpse for his experiments, which is provided when Delores Martiz dies on her wedding day. He brings her back from the dead, but cannot win her for himself.
• "Mark of Evil": A ruthless reporter kills for a camera which is able to show future events. When the gadget shows his own doom, he flees—but is caught by the police.
• "The Three Monkeys": Bradley goes to India in search of the Three Monkeys Cult. When he finds its sacred chamber, he also finds diamonds. Because of his greed he is struck blind, so that he never more will see evil.
