Description
While writing The Neurology of Suggestion, the first book in this series, I suddenly realized how much I had learned about hypnosis and hypnotherapy was completely false and completely divorced from scientific standards expected within medicine and mental health. It was like my own field was in a trance of delusion. Advanced Hypnotherapy Protocols and Applications takes the theories and concepts first introduced in The Neurology of Suggestion and weaves them into 10 Principles for Transformation and provides easy, science-based methods and applications, which medical, mental health, and other practitioners of hypnosis and hypnotherapy can quickly use with their current patients and clients.
I have successfully used The Neurology of Suggestion with patients for over 29 years. During that time, I also trained clinicians in the medical, dental, chiropractic, counseling, psychology, and related fields. The ideas present in both The Neurology of Suggestion and in Advanced Hypnotherapy Protocols are scientifically-based and field tested by real practitioners working with real people. Many of my students have used these techniques with their family members who have been dealing with a wide range of issues.
The techniques described can be easily modified once the practitioner grasped the principles. And, they can be used for a wide range of issues such as pain management, psychosomatic illnesses such as Irritable Bowl Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, for a variety of mental disorders, and for performance-based issues such as golf and sports improvement, accelerated learning, and much more.
