A trip to EAA AirVenture is supposed to mean airplanes, old friends, and summer adventure. Instead, when a skeptical federal agent and pilot arrives in Oshkosh with his wife, Heidi, and their aging Labrador, Piper, they find themselves staying in a century-old house near Lake Winnebago. At first, the strange occurrences are easy to dismiss: a little girl on a red bicycle. Footsteps after midnight. Things that can almost be explained away. But with each passing night, the house becomes harder to rationalize—and increasingly threatening.
For twenty-five years, Tucker has dealt with dangerous people. He understands violence. He understands fear. And he knows what to do when someone wants to hurt him. But you can't handcuff something you can't see. Inspired by real events, "A Haunting in Oshkosh" is an aviation ghost story about a skeptic forced to confront something he cannot explain.
