Fun Romantic Mystery
What I liked:
-It was just fun. It was like watching a murder version of the Bachelor. I needed a break from my serious reads and this did nicely.
-I didn't suspect the killer. It's a fluff book, but written well enough that it was not obvious.
-The romance. I liked that her opinion of the contestants kept revolving, and I didn't know who'd she end up with. There's a spin on the show that sets it apart from The Bachelor, and makes it hard to trust the contestants. I thought that was a unique twist.
-It wasn't an "adult" book. There isn't sleeping around, sex scenes, etc.
-The swearing was mild.
What I didn't like:
-I didn't like the way the investigation was handled. I guess it was like that to prolong the mystery and the book, but I thought surely the cops could investigate a bit better.
You have to be in the mood for it, but if you want some clean fluff that's more than just romance, I recommend this mystery.
This is an incredibly unrealistic story. I had to stop reading this book because I couldn't believe how weak the lead character is. I don't want to give spoilers but the dialogue and plot only reiterates how poorly developed the story line is. The only emotion I felt was irritation at the characters and the plot twists, especially the scenes with Paul and Georgia.
