Editor's review
This classic recording of Shecky Greene's "A Day at the Races" is sure to make the listener feel nostalgic for the comedy of years gone by. Greene's voice is crisp and playful; his jokes are funny without being inappropriate or cheap. Greene is the "ultimate Vegas comedian"; his manic gestures are dutifully conveyed in this recording. One can imagine Greene's gesticulating thanks to the audience's repeated burst of laughter. This short 30-minute routine will liven the listener's day and make him laugh out loud.
