like any good scifi, this book talks about many subjects: body image issues, immigration, dehumanization, depersonalization, transness, family, acceptance, prejudice, consumerism

yet at no point is it disrespectful or callous

it takes a while to start and engage, like the first book, but it's just damn good

L’histoire est très belle et touchante. Elle met un peu de temps à se mettre en place mais très vite on est happé par ces histoires parallèles. La voix de la narratrice est chaleureuse et donne toute sa place à la dimension humaniste du récit.

I love this book so much!! it made me cry many times, I don't want it to be over. The voice actress is outstandingly good too, I was impressed by the singing! Every character sounded different and it was very lively.
