Andy Borowitz was here last week with friends Susie Essman, Hendrik Hertzberg, Calvin Trillin and surprise guest Lewis Black, for his Countdown to Election 2012. Before the panel took the stage, Borowitz performed a monologue on stage that had the audience, and his panel guests, in stitches.

Award-winning satirical comedian Andy Borowitz assembles an A-list panel of journalists and comedians including Susie Essman, Hendrik Hertzberg, Calvin Trillin, and Lewis Black to offer their comments on the 2012 elections. Borowitz begins with a monologue filled with political zingers targeting President Obama and Governor Romney, as well as the increasingly absurd nature of cable news. After setting a humorous and sardonic tone to the proceedings, Borowitz turns over the discussion to the panelists, who offer their own funny and perceptive predictions and analyses.
