One boy, one journey — fifteen thousand kilometers between fear and freedom.
In 1979, as Iran is swept by revolution, sixteen-year-old Hassan’s world is turned upside down. What begins as a fight for freedom quickly becomes a dangerous battle for survival. Torn from his home, he is forced to cross borders, deserts, and war zones, traveling over fifteen thousand kilometers in search of safety — and a future he can call his own.
15000 Kilometers is a gripping memoir, deeply human story of courage, friendship, and perseverance. Through moments of heartbreak and hope, Hassan discovers that the journey to freedom is not just about crossing borders — it’s about finding the strength to keep walking, even when the path disappears beneath your feet.
