A Meditation Adventure

A great and unique read for the genre. Harris’s skepticism and occasional acerbic humor makes this meditation book different from most. It’s also a narrative, and adventure. Of course, everybody’s experience in approaching and practicing meditation is unique. However, I think most readers will find a connection with Harris’s personal journey, and will profit in their own practice. I really enjoyed it!

The last hour of this audio book are guided meditations.

Lighthearted and great

Loved this book. The author has such a way of words and I laughed out loud several times. Highly recommended!

Wish I read an overview

Way too long-winded and it took him forever to get to the real info! Fast forward to at least halfway through the book, you'll only miss his stories which are great if you are getting this book to hear about his lifes adventures. I wanted to learn more about his journey with meditation.

very helpful and accessible

I listened to this twice in a row and I don't think I'm going to remove it from my phone for a while. I found it very helpful and it inspired me to pick up my meditation practice again. I am already seeing results

Incredible

The most grounded, accessible book on mindfulness I’ve ever read. If you are a busy-brained skeptic wanting to be in your head less and be present more this is the book for you.

Don’t Waste Your Money

They are other books that you can get for spiritual awakening. They were very few good parts of the book towards the end. A few gems here and there but Dan Harris doesn’t go deep into how to tame the voice in your head.

Dan siempre comparte temas relevantes para la vida, a mi me ha dado una perspectiva diferente de la realidad y de cómo calmar esta mente que siempre está en constante movimiento...
