Locked behind bars for three years, Shadow did his time, quietly waiting for the day when he could return to Eagle Point, Indiana. A man no longer scared of what tomorrow might bring, all he wanted was to be with Laura, the wife he deeply loved, and start a new life. But just days before his release, Laura and Shadow's best friend are killed in an accident. With his life in pieces and nothing to keep him tethered, Shadow accepts a job from a beguiling stranger he meets on the way home.

[EN] I dived into this book to get ready for the TV show adaptation and I don't regret it! I found that some parts in the middle of the book were a bit too slow but overall I really enjoyed it. The characters are very unique and they're one of the main reasons I loved this story.
The interpretation is pretty great. The only downside for me was that it was hard at times to follow without seeing the characters' names in writing (though it may be mainly because I'm not a native English speaker).

When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it's the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run - and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry's tea leaves.... But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss....

[EN] Still enjoying my rereading very much with Stephen Fry's fabulous narration. Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book in the series and this audiobook is totally worth it! You can go ahead without hesitation :)

[EN] As I said for the first book, Stephen Fry narration is nothing less than amazing! I know those stories by heart (I've read the books/seen the movies loads of times) and with this audio version it's a whole new way to be immersed in this universe that I love <3
Strongly recommend!

Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!
