I wish I had this knowledge my whole adult life! The author provides a solid framework for negotiation, with very practical, concrete techniques. The scattering of real world examples from his students, clients and his work as a lead international hostage negotiator makes the book even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

The author provides a logical, concise, well structured and concrete guide to taking control over habit formation. I found the various case studies very inspirational and motivating, and the audio book was a pleasure to listen to thanks to the excellent performance by the reader.

With a perfect balance of nutrition theory, history of diets, and practical guidance, this is possibly the most important book I have read. Many previously held beliefs have been challenged as a result, and finally obesity and weight gain/loss makes sense. Understanding this in terms of a hormonal homeostasis - rather than the oversimplified, reductionistic frameworks using caloric calculations or making sweeping judgements on one or more macronutrient group - has given me nee hope in improving my own health. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. in addition, it is beautifully and skillfully narrated, making it a pleasure to consume the valuable information.

A thoroughly well laid out argument, explanation and discussion of the solution to the black Swan problem. Although I found the personal attacks of the "fragilistas" a bit distracting from the content, it certainly is entertaining. I am inspired to apply these ideas to my own area of work!

Despite strongly disagreeing with certain beliefs and opinions of the author, it is hard not to feel intimidated by the power of the intellect emanating from the pages of the book. The novel and enlightening ability of the author to take a look over all of history and pluck out trends, themes and meaning is truly inspiring.

An addictively witty reconstruction of the initial major stories of grecian mythology intertwined with illuminating commentary. I thouroughly enjoyed this audio book and highly recommend it for both those familiar, as well as the uninitiated, with Greek myth.

A beautifully written introduction to Dynamic systems theory. I think the world would be a bit better if everyone knew about the contents of this book!
