Set in Northern California in 2014, this is the story of a very pretty and well-guarded high school girl. When she turns 18, her father takes off all former restrictions and tells her she may consider herself an adult, with free reign over her decisions and actions. After all, 18-year-olds can vote, and some also go off to fight for their country and risk death. This age rightfully marks the end of parental control.

However, Nora has been raised well, and she isn’t inclined to do anything unsavory...well, at least not right away. She applies to college, but falls in love - which changes her plans. Of course, being really pretty renders her special privileges and other unusual benefits, and the story takes us through exciting related developments - including how she deals with her increasing exposure to other potential lovers.

Intertwined into this story are the adventures of her cousin, who is from the East Coast. He wants to go out to California to become an actor. He doesn’t know anyone else in California besides Nora’s family, so he lands there first - but he has an eventful journey on the way.

Following the interpersonal adventures of Nora, her first boyfriend, and her cousin Steven, Three Lovers offers a good perspective on romantic and sexual relationships (with nothing graphic), and it is also a study on philosophy in that regard. Far beyond this, it is a fun, sexy, and exciting dramatic story of how complications can develop when multiple lovers become entwined!
