Set on a remote island, where the sorcerer Prospero, rightful Duke of Milan, plots to restore his daughter, Miranda, to her rightful place using illusion and skilful manipulation.

This edition of The Tempest is an adaptation of Shakespeare's eponymous drama, narrated in plain modern English, capturing the very essence and key elements of Shakespeare's original work.

Read in English, unabridged.

I am sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but I could not get further than a few minutes because of the rhythm and pace at which the reader reads.

I'm not a native speaker but am quite used to audio books in English and here the pauses are so awkwardly placed in the sentence that I can't understand a single thing without having to concentrate hard on it, and I got the feeling that the reader did not understand the text much better than I did.

It did not flow naturally and was not enjoyable.
I don't recommend it and will most probably not finish that audiobook myself.
