Doctor Victoria King has been betrayed by love once and refuses to risk heartbreak again. Brianna Parker, the teenaged daughter of Reese's chief, fears her father’s wrath when he learns that she loves another girl. Safe Harbor is a lesbian romance and the first of seven stories in the Provincetown series.
Narrated with breathy uplift by Nicol Zanzarella, we follow Provincetown’s new deputy sheriff, Reese Conlon, a tough, smart, beautiful, and suddenly available woman. Sherrif Conlon’s swagger puts the women of Provincetown in a tizzy, but it is the brilliant Dr. Victoria "Tory" King who ultimately wins her affections. Yet the flame of new love is often at its brightest right before it flickers and dwindles down to nothing. Will the pair’s passionate relationship sustain the ordinary pains of regular life?
Several other subplots are interwoven in this poignant - and often very steamy – "slice of life" story.
