His teachers might be aliens. Something impossible is reaching him from another universe. And Ri is starting to wonder if he’s completely losing his mind.
Thirteen-year-old Rieden Reece thought surviving a broken moon was complicated. Then an alien sunflower spits out a mysterious space watch—and suddenly Ri finds himself connected to something that shouldn’t exist.
And it brings bad news.
Something Ri did changed Earth’s future, and now shape-shifting aliens are quietly taking over Desert Lime. Even worse, strange alien flowers are spreading across the planet, and somehow, they’re connected to a terrifying figure Ri calls the Plague Doctor.
To stop him, Ri will have to uncover who’s human, who isn’t, and whether the bizarre things he’s seeing are even real.
Along the way there are talking weeds, dangerous alien technology, suspicious teachers, a seriously irritated bee, and a glimpse of a future where Earth’s very last flower is about to die.
Saving the world was never supposed to be Ri’s job.
Apparently, nobody told the universe.
Funny, strange, suspenseful, and packed with twists, Rieden Reece and the Final Flower is the second adventure in the seven-book Rieden Reece series for listeners who love science fiction, mystery, humor, and wildly imaginative worlds.
