Malbert, an ordinary house mouse, struggles to get free. He never could have guessed that he would end up gravely pinned halfway under a box after setting out to find a piece of cheesecake that is rumored to be on the floor of Mrs. Green's house.
In severe pain and semiconscious, he notices his reflection in a dusty piece of broken glass nearby. It sparks many remarkable memories of his past. Each one introduces a pathway to an enticing and uplifting adventure.
Through a special cast of intriguing characters, the story is brought to life. Malbert's memories-and his current situation-take him through a full range of emotions: love, wonder, faith, fear, doubt, and much more.
His life flashes before his eyes, and he realizes the true value of reflecting on the wonderful things in our lives every day.
