A second collection of six diverse stories from award-winning short story and flash fiction writer J.B. Linkwater. The Forty Eights: Priceless antiques collected over a lifetime. But at what cost? Bonnie: Out of chaos and into the light. Bonnie and her daughter defeat the bad vibes and shadows that follow them. Bonnie has a close call with her nemesis but fate eventually delivers them into the sunlight.
The Hammer Man, the Elephant, the Artist, the Mystic and the Runaway: Strange happenings in the desert. A man with a hammer, a disillusioned artist, a strange elephant, a runaway, a mystic and his goats all gently swirling in sandy symbiosis.
Blueberry Pie: A relentlessly dark story of failure at every level. A missing person, collapsing minds, the squalor of street life. From an innocent child to one of life's rotting nomads. Mrs Margaret Evans: She despises her family. Yelps in the mirror. Dangles throughout the day. Her family and friends plod on. Has her ego tripped her up?Razors, Rats, Parnsips and Peacemakers: A romp through the world of gene theory. A crazy look at human and vegetable connectivity. Getting away with murder times three.
