Is your Amazon storefront costing you sales? See how AI tools, shopper personalization, and smarter design turn overlooked traffic into more orders without rebuilding the store from scratch.
Your Amazon storefront could be getting visitors, and losing sales, without you realizing it. While many sellers spend hours optimizing their product listings, their storefront stays untouched, showing the same products and messaging to everyone. In this episode of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley Sutton welcomes Daniela Bolzmann, founder of Mindful Goods, to explain how Amazon’s AI storefront tools can help brand-registered sellers create more relevant shopping experiences. Having worked with more than 850 brands, Daniela shares practical ways to turn an overlooked Amazon storefront into a stronger sales destination.
The strategy starts with recognizing that first-time visitors, shoppers considering a purchase, and repeat customers need different experiences. New shoppers may need product education and reasons to trust the brand, while returning customers might be ready for multipacks, bundles, or complementary products. Daniela demonstrates how sellers can adapt an existing storefront for these audiences without designing every version from scratch. By combining Amazon’s personalization insights with Helium 10 research and Claude, sellers can use performance data to plan layouts, prioritize products, and develop audience-specific wireframes. She also explains why sellers need to review AI recommendations carefully, particularly when the suggested changes conflict with actual sales data.
Daniela brings the strategy to life through A Better Treat, a pet brand whose storefront was generating approximately $12,000 per month without advertising directed to the store. Following a redesign and audience personalization, she reports that new-to-brand visits roughly doubled, orders approximately tripled, and conversion increased from 8.7% to 12%. The results also revealed opportunities for further testing, including improving average order value in an underperforming cohort. Throughout the discussion, Daniela emphasizes giving each section a clear purpose, placing compelling content near the top, and combining custom visuals with Amazon’s familiar product grids to help shoppers understand the products and purchase easily.
During live storefront reviews, Bradley and Daniela identify common mistakes, including unclear branding, buried bestsellers, excessive text, and featured products that are out of stock. They discuss when a single-product brand should build a storefront, how background videos can demonstrate products, and why the Amazon experience should match the expectations created by TikTok content and other marketing channels. Daniela also addresses AI-generated imagery, explaining that customer perception matters even when an image is real. Her team uses PickFu to evaluate creative concepts before moving promising listing assets into Amazon’s Manage Your Experiments, helping replace guesswork with evidence.
The opportunity starts with making better use of the storefront and traffic you already have. Understand who is visiting, identify what each audience needs, and test changes that make the path to purchase clearer.
