“Step back into the golden age of radio with Ranger Bill, where adventure, danger, humor, and Christian values come together in the rugged wilderness of Knotty Pine in the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy listening to the complete Season 1 of this popular radio show.
Follow Bill Jefferson, a former U.S. Marine turned forest ranger, as he battles forest fires, poachers, reckless hunters, dangerous weather, and the many other threats facing the woodland. Along the way, Bill is joined by his young ward Henry, fellow ranger Ralph Carpenter, the colorful “Old Timer” Stumpy Jenkins, and Gray Wolf, whose knowledge of the wilderness often proves invaluable.
Produced by the Moody Bible Institute beginning in 1950, Ranger Bill was designed to entertain first and teach naturally through the story—with exciting action, practical lessons about nature and safety, plenty of humor, and a Christian moral woven into each episode.
With more than 200 episodes produced, the eleven season series offers a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to experience the wholesome adventure and imagination of classic radio drama. So gather the family, turn up the volume, and join Ranger Bill on the trail—there’s always another adventure waiting around the next bend!”
