Down 16-3 at halftime. A furious second-half comeback. And another overtime thriller against East Carolina. Memphis escaped with a 41-34 victory over the Pirates Thursday night, but the win raised almost as many questions as it answered. Marcus Stokes bounced back from his disastrous performance against Tulane with five total touchdowns, while Ellis Ellis Jr. sealed the victory with an overtime interception. The Tigers improved to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in American Conference play, keeping their championship hopes alive. This week on Tigers Tonight, we're breaking down the wild comeback against ECU, the continued concerns surrounding the Tigers' defense, and what Charles Huff's team needs to improve heading into the final stretch of the season. Plus, it's a Halloween showdown at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium as Army comes to town Saturday night. Can Memphis build on its comeback victory, or will the Black Knights give the Tigers another scare? Join us for another edition of Tigers Tonight as we break down the latest Memphis football news, analysis, and the road ahead.
