In today’s Bible study, Open Arms Online Ministries continues through the Gospel of John with John 6:16–24, “Jesus Meets Us in the Storm.”
After witnessing Jesus feed more than five thousand people, the disciples find themselves crossing the Sea of Galilee after dark. Strong winds begin to blow, the water becomes rough, and fear takes hold—until Jesus comes toward them walking on the water.
Together, we will learn why difficult circumstances do not mean God has abandoned us, how the presence of Jesus gives us courage, and what it means to welcome Him into situations we cannot control.
We will also explore three devotional truths from this passage:
• Peace in the Storm — John 6:18–20 • Welcome Jesus In — John 6:21 • Seek Jesus Himself — John 6:24
Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are beginning your faith journey, are returning to God, or simply have questions, you are always welcome here.
