The Disappearance: A Significant Event Bringing Peace to Humanity & Emmy’s Story was born from two unforgettable childhood memories—whether vivid dreams or scenes from a black-and-white television—that have lingered in the author's mind for over sixty years. As the years passed and the world changed, these memories evolved, eventually becoming the foundation for a pair of fictional stories woven into one powerful narrative.
At its heart, this book is a wish and a prayer—for peace. Peace that has been dreamed of, sung about, fought for, and prayed for since the beginning of time. It reflects on the perplexing nature of humanity: why do so many choose cruelty, war, and deceit, while others simply yearn to live honestly and harmoniously?
Through these stories, the author confronts age-old questions: What is the end game? Do the ends justify the means? After the devastation of war, do the so-called victors ever rebuild what they've destroyed—or do they simply exploit the suffering left behind?
