Maya said “No room.” Then the fog said it back.
It’s a Saturday in October, and Maya, Bea, Ashi and Milo are building the best haunted fort in the neighborhood. There’s one empty corner, the ghost corner. Twiggy asks if she can join. There’s room. They say there isn’t. And the fog is coming up the street.
