Misha (Mike), and Ada are back in another crazy action, humor and technology packed adventure. What's funny is that the first book was so complete I didn't think there was going to be a second book. Boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised when I saw the preorder link! This story picks up where book #1 Mind Machines, ends. Mike's mom and the other captives have been saved from Russia! (Yay) Mike and gang are finally able to relax, code, enjoy his relationship with Ada and continue his relationship with his mom now that her mind is whole. The peaceful feeling lasted about half a chapter, then BOOM! There is so much adventure and near death scenes, pre-cog moments that seem so real you start grieving for the lost characters, only for the scene to play out totally different. Mikes' crew also argue about weather the Brainocyte technology should be shared with the world. One of the Brainocytes crew has been up to something top secret which leads all kinds of bad guys and bad things to fall into Mikes life. Despite all the near death experiences, Mike and Ada's relationship progress. I can't wait to see the new developments and challenges book #3 leads these lovable characters into!! I'm typically a romance reader, but this book although it isn't a true romance book, has be hooked. I am loving the action, humor and all the technological advances made in the story. The blossoming love between Mike and Ada, is enough to peek my romance curiosity. This is a book for all, its so packed with everything, anyone can easily fall in love with Dima Zales and all he writes. Loved it loved it LOVE IT!!

I knew the sequel was going to be good but... Wow. I expected to get lost in the technological ideas and so I did. But when the action happened, I got lost in it and it never stopped. It just kept getting bigger and bigger. Now I'm done and all I can ask is what tech ideas can DZ come up with in the next book and how the heck can you top the action from this book. But... that's exactly what I thought about the first book, and here I am blown away by the second one... When can I expect bummer three to publish?
I had already read Thought Readers and enjoyed the story a lot, so when I read about this new series I figured it would be just a good. Wrong. It was better. Funny, I thought Dima was a female ( sorry dude) but one thing was certain. Dude does his research. I'm not real sure he doesn't have a Masters in Neuroscience but modestly didn't include it in his bio.
