"Honey, I think this is simply going to be a waste of money for us", he said as he reluctantly gave the sales girl his card.
"No, it is not going to be a waste, darling", she had said. "I believe that you will love it too".
"Love? Why? It is just an accessory, not a person".
"But, Don, we can still love accessories. Or don't you love your SUV"?
"Well, you are right about my SUV, Olivia. But it is only because of how useful it is to us".
"So, you mean that this rug is not going to be as useful as the SUV"?
"How can you compare them, Olivia? We need the SUV to move around. What do we need this rug for"?
"Don't worry, my dear husband. You'll see", she had said.
And they did get to see what she meant. Apart from beautifying their room further, it also aided their love making process.
