À propos de ce contenu audio
"Marriage License" is a short story published in Spicy Stories magazine in 1933, a publication known for its spicy pulp fiction. During the Great Depression, people were hungry for many things, including cheap entertainment. At 20 cents per magazine, Spicy Stories offered customers up to 10 different short stories in every issue.
In this story, we see a young couple. We are told in the beginning the lady is married and that the man that has just entered her boudoir is not her husband. She is preparing to go out with him for a night of dancing. When she gets home, she finds her husband has had a party of his own. There is an interesting twist at the end that seems far too modern for 1933. Enjoy.
