Falling asleep by the pool was Margaret’s first mistake, but the late afternoon sun had felt so good. The growing shadows of dusk woke her, and her worries grew as the darkness surrounded her on the walk away from the forest lake. The sounds of someone following made her run, but there was no escape, and her panic was magnified a hundred-fold when she was trapped by the werewolf.
What it wanted wasn’t her life, though. It was lusting after something more primal, and Margaret had no choice but to give in so she could survive the encounter with a wild beast hungry to breed.
