After the sudden death of her father, Dani-Jo has to figure out where to go and how to deal with loss while facing the threats of the Savages, Pirates, and more. Following a fatal battle, the group sets out to the beach - the first time, for most of them. During their vacation, they stay at a rumored haunted castle that Dani-Jo has more connections to than she realizes. Dealing with her internal battles, she allows herself to open up to the possibility of love, but with that possibility comes risks that she’s not sure she’s willing to take...

Torn between right and wrong, justice and peace, honesty and immorality, Adi struggles to embrace herself and the world around her, hoping others can do the same. Embarking on an expedition to help solve a riddle found as a message in a bottle, Kole and a few others venture out to sea in a ship that’s only spoken of in ghost tales. Kole struggles to allow himself to be vulnerable. He finds himself stuck between a rock and a hard place. His love interest being the rock and his messed up past keeping him from opening up, the hard place.
