      In the latest edition of Weather Or Not, Lee Goldberg breaks down a number of topics: including this week's rainy weather, our long-range pattern and a recap of his total eclipse adventure. This week has felt like a combination of a June preview and a March rewind, with temperatures reaching as high as 82 on Monday before we bottom out in the upper 40s by Thursday. So, what will it be come late-April and early-May? Lee says precipitation will be slightly below normal to near normal, but we won't get a tremendous amount of warm air. Lee also recaps his total solar eclipse adventure from last week -- traveling from the Eyewitness News studio out to Syracuse, before hustling to Albany and then Burlington, Vermont, where he ultimately got an outstanding view of the eclipse. But that might be the best view we get for a while. Lee says that while there are more eclipses in our future, we will likely have to wait decades before the next one is visible in our area.       The calendar has flipped to April, but some areas across the Tri-State, mainly upstate New York, are bracing for snow this week. Even those missing the snow will see wintery chill, heavy rain, the risk of flooding and stiff winds, which will bring weather-related disruptions. The nor'easter will be a slow mover as it delivers significant snow to New England, extending the ski season, and showers will linger in the forecast across the region for days. The Yankees home-opener, though raw and cold, is looking like a go. And how about Monday's total solar eclipse? Clouds will likely cover large swaths of the path of totality, but upstate New York could be a sweet spot for viewing. And the New York City area, though 10 percent shy of totality, will enjoy a great shot of taking in the celestial spectacle, with darkening skies, dropping temperatures and wild animals reacting to the sudden dimming.
