Dave brings in THE CRACKDOWN by CARBARET VOLTAIRE, and English electronic group that made really cool and experimental electronic music and were a very early pioneer in ELECTRONIC, DANCE, INDUSTRIAL, POST-PUNK, ACID HOUSE, & TECHNO. Additionally, we discuss how it features some parallels to some of the emerging hip-hop artists coming up across the pond at the same time, that we assume is coincidental.

This album was released in 1983 and is the first album that followed CHRIS WATSON's departure from the group, which results in an album that was somewhat more conventional that their past released, but still cold, disturbing, and alienating.

As a MOLLY HATCHET fan I was very interested in hearing this album, but I wasn't expecting much but instead I got the best MOLLY HATCHET album that MOLLY HATCHET didn't make. While we discuss what we like about the album, we also discuss funny stories involving drummer TERRY CHIMES aka TORY CRIMES' brief stint in BLACK SABBATH during their controversial visit to apartheid South Africa, along with the story of LEMMY KILMISTER of MOTORHEAD who didn't care for the band.
