    I'm Darren. A businessman, husband and dad, I have also suffered from depression for the last 30 years.

    I should have spoke earlier. I didn't...and we all know the reason's why. Mostly, I felt weak and a liability.

    I want the everyday man to tell their story. The builder, the postman, the city trader, the stay at home dad, the student.

    I talk to people just like you.

      Monkey on my back is a metaphor of my fight with mental health. I hope the journey that I create with this podcast will encourage other men to talk openly about how they have overcome adversity when they felt there was no hope.

      In this introductory episode, I speak briefly about my journey.

      I passionately want others to contribute towards this podcast and help to destigmatize mental health in men.
