Very enjoyable and uplifting
This is my first Katherine Center book, it won't be my last. I am going to boldly ask you to disregard all the negative reviews, like the plot not being very credible, and listen to it. For one thing, the author makes the plot very credible against all odds. Secondly, there are no cringe moments, unfortunate misunderstandings between characters which make you want to scream "come on, go talk to him/her and explain already, it's not that complicated!" This is a story about smart, positive, honest people who grow on you. But most importantly, the story is told with such wit! I laughed so hard so many times in this book. and not because there was a joke or anything. Some of the thoughts that went through the main character's mind were so unusual but relatable. I mean I had to stop and repeat what was said in order to savor it. I plan to read this book again just to enjoy Katherine Center's story-telling. And the narrator is impeccable.
