Description
Susie begins the show by reading an article about a young, gay wresting star who became an HIV scapegoat. Written by Steven Thrasher for BuzzFeed, it's a story about a college kid who has lots of consensual, unprotected sex with other guys. Why does he become the scapegoat? He's black, and the white guys say he told them he was clean (no HIV), and he wasn't. Susie shares this incredible tale, which will have you wondering who to believe.
Next, Susie loves a question that a fellow sexpert - Dear Prudence - received over at Slate. "My daughter is using our kitchen like it's her sex-toy playground," a mom asks Dear Prudence. "What can I do?" It seems the young adolescent was caught using the electric hand mixer as a vibrator. Egads! What other appliances has she used? Susie likes the advice that was given and has a little more of her own to add to the...mix.
Then, it's the "Try This at Home" mailbag. Susie has a letter from a listener who wants more interviews with porn stars. He remembers one of his favorite performers from the past, and wonders where the actor is now. Susie says she'll track down the star. But until then, she offers up her deluxe special: Masters of Erotic Cinema, which is available from Audible. This is a six-hour compilation that must not be missed.
