Written in Babylon around 600 BC, this extraordinary text foreshadows the coming of Jesus and first gives Jesus the title, "the Son of Man". Understanding the historical context of this text can be quite complex, but Dr. Creasy makes it both simple and interesting. In Jewish Bibles, Daniel is classified among the “Writings”, not among the “Prophets”; in Christian Bibles, Daniel is classified among the major prophets. Written sometime in the second century B.C., the story of Daniel is set in Babylon, 605-539 B.C.
