Description
In her memoir Settle for More, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly looks back on her life and describes her winding road to fame and the many obstacles she encountered along the way. From her vantage as one of the most-watched newscasters in the country, the 45-year-old journalist blends autobiographical reflection with harrowing accounts of the harassment she experienced at the hands of Donald Trump and the founder of Fox News, Roger Ailes.
Kelly had a mostly happy childhood in upstate New York. She was raised by nurturing parents who encouraged her to be self-sufficient and ambitious. Her first traumatic experience happened in seventh grade when she was suddenly ostracized and bullied by her girlfriends for no discernable reason. It was a short-lived but terrible period that left an emotional scar.
